According to Mayer, The Mouth of Lovie, "CB Tim Jennings (shoulder) has been ruled out of Sunday's game at Minnesota; Kelvin Hayden will start."
D.J. Moore will be returning to the nickel back role after having been a healthy scratch for two of the past three games. (Dane just pointed out that this is a rare opportunity for a player to get out of Lovie's notorious doghouse and, in the final year of his rookie contract, he'll be playing for his next contract in Chicago.)
Brian Urlacher and Earl Bennett had already been ruled out, and Sam backer Nick Roach has stepped inside to take his position, with former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Geno Hayes filling in Roach's normal spot.
In a turn of much-needed good news for the offense, Alshon Jeffery and Devin Hester are both expected to return to action. Weems and Sanzenbacher didn't exactly contribute to the Cutty and Marshall show last game, so fingers crossed that these guys (or Jeffery, in any case) will make a difference.
Jeff Dickerson also reports that "Running back Michael Bush (ribs) returned to practice on Friday and is listed as questionable, along with offensive guard Chris Spencer (knee) and defensive tackle Stephen Paea (foot)."
Anything catch your eye, Bears fans?
