Mocking the Mocks: Who they think the Chicago Bears will take

New, comments

It seems like this Floyd kid is about as close to a consensus as you can get for the Chicago Bears at number 19. We'll take a look at one final Mock Draft before the NFL Combine throws a wrench into the mock drafters world. This time we'll revisit the mock of Sports Illustrated's Don Banks that he updated yesterday. He once again has the Bears going with Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd. Pre-combine Floyd is listed at 6'3" 224.

After the jump we'll take a look at what Banks had to say.

The Roy Williams acquisition didn't work out last year, so the Bears still need a big, strong, go-to receiver for Jay Cutler to find five or six times a game. Floyd is a physical pass-catcher who can get hot and take over games. If he runs better than expected in Indy, his stock might even climb into the first half of the round.

So take a look at his mock and tell us if Floyd is the pick you would make if the actual draft fell that way.
