Bears signed Kelvin Hayden today, to boost secondary depth. It's a one-year deal.
The Bears on Thursday agreed to terms with cornerback Kelvin Hayden on a one-year contract.
The 6-foot, 195-pounder spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Colts (2005-10) and Falcons (2011). Appearing in 85 games with 47 starts, he recorded 312 tackles, 11 interceptions, 41 passes defensed, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 25 special teams stops
So what do think? A one-year deal for a proven corner who can add some depth and put some heat on Tim Jennings.
UPDATE: According to Michael C. Wright, of ESPNChicago the deal is for the vets minimum.
