The Chicago Bears announced they have come to terms with Evan Rodriguez, the TE from Temple drafted in the 4th round of this year's NFL Draft.
The teams sees the 6'2, 240lb target as being a versatile player, having the ability to hold his own against pass rushers, as well as being able to stretch the field in the passing game.
Despite some off the field character concerns, GM Phil Emery has been comfortable with the comparisons to Pro Bowl Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez.
How productive will Rodriguez be in new Offensive Coordinator Mike Tice's offense? Bears fans sure hope that he can live up to his hype. Stay tuned...
