First off allow me to fix the title of my piece; Chicago Bears 2012 Position Battles: The Specialists, because we all know there is no battle taking place. The Bears have had three very good specialists for some time now. Robbie Gould is one of the most accurate place kickers in the history of the NFL. Adam Podlesh took over last year for Brad Maynard and the punting improved. And Patrick Mannelly is Patrick Mannelly, 'nuff said. But since I've hit on every other position group in my series I feel I need to give these guys their due.

The only other specialist in camp is Ryan Quigley from Boston College. The Bears website lists him as a kicker, but he was a punter and a kickoff specialist at B.C.

Anyone else think Robbie Gould has a little Ben Affleck in him?
