Are we sure that wasn't a regular season game?

The Bears started out hot, opening up a 14-0 lead with two rushing touchdowns by Michael Bush, a furious passing offense, and a defense that held Robert Griffin III in check. The team led 21-10 at the half... and then the Redskins came back behind Kirk Cousins, pulling ahead with just over two minutes left, 31-30.

But then undrafted free agent Matt Blanchard came in. He looked somewhat shaky on several overthrows, but made a couple nice completions to Evan Rodriguez to pull the team just outside of Robbie Gould's field goal range. Gould didn't care, and he just eked the ball over the crossbar.

Injuries, the Bears didn't leave unscathed: Chris Conte, Adam Podlesh, and Blake Costanzo all left with injuries, but Brandon Hardin left also with a neck injury and had to be removed on a stretcher.

I'll have some more details and notes with Scribbles in the morning. Quick, victorious numbers after the jump.
