As being reported by various sources, Rashied Davis was dropped by the Bears today. The wide out was in a battle with Dane Sanzenbacher to stick on the 53 man roster as a 6th receiver. It would appear that the extra special teams work for Sanzenbacher has paid dividends. Davis missed practice yesterday with an undisclosed injury, and he informed the Tribune he was cut this morning.
