Updates from Halas Hall: Chicago Bears Roster Moves and Injury Updates

From Jeff Dickerson at ESPN Chicago:

The Chicago Bears made a series of roster moves on Monday as they released punter Ryan Quigley; signed offensive tackle Jonathan Scott; signed tight end Dedrick Epps to the practice squad; and terminated the practice squad contract of offensive tackle Cory Brandon.

The club also reinstated defensive tackle Nate Collins to the active roster after he spent Week 1 on the reserve/suspended list.

Also today, Lovie Smith reported that he was optimistic about CB Charles Tillman being ready to go by Thursday, as he is recovering from a lower leg injury sustained in the first half of yesterday's game versus the Colts.

We know, however, that Lovie is always optimistic about everything, and always vague about injuries, so take that for what it's worth. Something tells me that after Tim Jennings's performance Sunday, the CB position will be okay if Tillman needs an extra week to rest.

Lovie also says that TE Kyle Adams has a shoulder injury, and LT J'Marcus Webb has a thumb injury. Neither seemed serious, and should be fine.

Stay tuned for more updates as we learn about them...
