This probably isn't the offensive line move many Bears fans were expecting, but as reported by Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, Chris Spencer will take a seat to allow Chilo Rachal to start at left guard. Spencer had his share of struggles starting during the preseason, but Rachal didn't make enough of a statement to unseat him at that time.
Spencer didn't look horrible the first two weeks, but he didn't stand out in a good way either. Rachal is more experienced at guard with 38 starts in his first four years as a 49er, while Spencer was new to the position.
