Chicago Bears Fantasy Football: Start 'Em and Sit 'Em vs the Ravens

It still seems weird to me that the Chicago Bears have so many legit fantasy football options this year. Here's who we think should be starting on your team this week.

Alshon Jeffery was the most targeted Bears player against the Lions.

Let's get down to the nitty gritty...

Start 'Em

Matt Forte RB - Matt Forte had a stinker of a game against the Lions last week, so I would expect him to bounce back against the Ravens. The Ravens do allow about a hundred yards per game on the ground, then you factor in Forte's receiving ability, and that makes him a must start. He also had his best game this season the last time Josh McCown started, so I predict about 25 touches, 100+ yards, and a TD.

Brandon Marshall WR - Twelve targets, seven receptions, 139 yards, and two touchdowns in Sunday's loss. Play Marshall this week.

Alshon Jeffery WR - Besides getting the ball on a couple more end arounds, Jeffery was targeted 18 times last week, and he again went over a hundred yards. He also had a dropped TD, so I expect him to latch onto everything thrown his way this week.

Martellus Bennett TE - In his last seven games, Martellus Bennett only has one TD. In his last three games, he has a grand total of nine catches, 72 yards, and that lone TD. What hurts Bennett is how dynamic the receiving duo above is for the Bears, and how valuable Forte is out of the backfield. Then again, the TE crop isn't the strongest this year, so odds are Bennett is still a strong play for you this week. And besides, he's due for a TD isn't he?

Robbie Gould K - I figured I'd give a little love to Gould this week. The last four weeks Robbie has been performing like a top 10 kicker, and with head coach Marc Tretsman being second guessed for passing up on a FG opportunity last week, he may be inclined to go for the three against the Ravens.

Sit 'Em

Chicago Bears Defense - The hits keep coming for the Bears defense, the latest being starting cornerback, and turnover machine, Charles Tillman going on injured reserve. The Bears D is 31st against the run, 23rd against the pass, and 27th in points allowed. They aren't sacking the QB, and the turnovers aren't as frequent as years past.

Jay Cutler QB - Just in case you're weren't aware, Jay Cutler has already been ruled out this week.

Josh McCown QB - You could do worse than starting Josh McCown this week, but since he's probably a free agent in your league, I wouldn't bother making a roster move to snatch him up unless you're really desperate for a QB.

What are your thoughts for the Bears fantasy options this week?
