Thursday Night Football Week 11: Colts at Titans Open Thread

USA TODAY Sports

It's an all-AFC South affair tonight as the first-place 6-3 Indianapolis Colts travel to face the 4-5 Tennessee Titans, lying behind them in second place in the division, in the first of their two games against one another in the span of three weeks.

The Titans' season got appreciably worse with the recent news that quarterback Jake Locker is lost for the rest of the season with a Lisfranc injury.  Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick will attempt to lead them for the remaining games.  As if things weren't bad enough, Chris Johnson is having a down year, averaging 3.6 yards per carry, or a full yard less than his career average.  At current rate he won't be so much C2KJ as C0.97KJ.

The Colts, who have won eight of the past nine meetings between the two sides, come into this game off the back of a 38-8 hammering by the St Louis Rams.  At home.  Trent Richardson has underwhelmed since they traded for him from the Cleveland Browns; could tonight be the game in which he gets it all together?

This game has no direct relevance to the Bears' season, but they both face the Arizona Cardinals in coming weeks, and beating the Cardinals would help our own chances of claiming a wild card.

This is your Thursday Night Football Open Thread, have a blast!
