As the NFL regular season comes to an end, the 2014 schedule is becoming more and more apparent. For the Chicago Bears, we know all of our opponents except two. While dates and times won't be set any time soon, here's what we do know:
HOME
Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, NFC East*
AWAY
Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, NY Jets, NFC West*
* Team from that division that finishes in the same spot in the 2013 standings.
A couple of things immediately jump out, particularly the trips to the cold northeast for away games. We won't know the exact dates for a while, but the Bears are traveling to Foxborough and the Meadowlands at some point, which could be a mess if it's in November/December.
Also, it's not fun having to face Aaron Rodgers twice a year, but 2014 will also see our defense facing off against Drew Brees and Tom Brady. Woo-hoo!
For the two remaining games, it looks like our home game will either be the Eagles or Cowboys, and our away game will either be the Seahawks, 49ers, or Cardinals.
We'll post the final schedule once it is available, but until then, what are your thoughts?
