2013 Combine, Day 3: Schedule, Results, and Info (Open Thread)

Day three of the NFL Combine is getting underway, so we're giving you a place to discuss the on-field standardizing testing that is the combine.

Here's the remaining schedule for the 2013 NFL Combine:

Group 1 (PK, ST, OL), Group 2 (OL), Group 3 (TE)

Saturday: On-field workouts, departure from Indy

Group 4 (QB, WO), Group 5 (QB, WO), Group 6 (RB)

Saturday: NFLPA meeting, psych testing, bench press, interviews

Sunday: On-field workouts, departure from Indy

Group 7 (DL), Group 8 (DL), Group 9 (LB)

Saturday: Measurements, medicals, media

Sunday: NFLPA meeting, psych testing, bench press, interviews

Monday: On-field workouts, departure from Indy

Group 10 (DB), Group 11 (DB)

Saturday: Arrival in Indy

Sunday: Measurements, medicals, media

Monday: NFLPA meeting, psych testing, bench press, interviews

Tuesday: On-field workouts, departure from Indy

Day three should be an interesting one from the Bears' perspective, as the groups the team should be most interested in will be doing their on-field workouts and actual drills. That would be the offensive line and tight ends, two areas where the Bears could really use some help (I mean, saying that for your benefit if you haven't checked out our recent position group posts - we're looking at the offensive line interior players later today).

Meanwhile, the quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs will be conducting their meetings with the NFLPA, competing with each other (and maybe even the linemen, judging by yesterday's scores) at the bench press, and undergoing psychological testing. They'll have their workouts tomorrow.

The defensive players kind of get off lucky for now, as they're just getting into town for their drills next week.
