Now that the Scouting Combine has ended, we jump into the maddening rush that is the two months leading up to the NFL draft.
Starting in primetime Thursday April 25th, teams will choose the next group of stars and busts. Before we get there, though, it's mock draft time!
In SBNation's newest mock draft, they have the Bears taking guard Jonathan Cooper of North Carolina with the 20th pick. Here's what they had to say about the potential new J.C. of the Bears:
20. Chicago Bears |
Jonathan Cooper, North Carolina |
G | 6'3 | 310 | Sr. |
Jonathan Cooper grades out closer to Chance Warmack than most people think. He's the more athletic of the two guards and is well-rounded in most aspects of his game. The Bears need to find talent, regardless of position on the offensive line. |

Some other notable things stand out about this first round mock. For starters? Tyler Eifert isn't on the list in the first round. Manti Te'o goes late to the Texans. DJ Fluker goes 24th to the Colts.
What do you think? Is the SBN team off their rockers, or does Cooper have a chance? After the Combine, who impressed you?
