According to multiple reports, the Chicago Bears have signed defensive end Kyle Moore, previously with the Buffalo Bills, and defensive tackle Andre Fluellen, previously with the Detroit Lions.
Moore (6'4, 265) was selected by the Bucs in the 4th round of the 2009 draft, and spent the last two seasons with the Bills. In twelve games last season, he registered 14 tackles and 3 sacks. Moore deal with Chicago is for one year.
Fluellen (6'2, 285) was a third round pick by the Lions in 2008, but has only started in six games his entire career. He will likely be brought in for depth chart competition, and given a chance via training camps.
And on another note, a report is being circulated that the Chicago Bears are among those 'most interested' in former 1st round pick JaMarcus Russell, who has been trying to rehab his game and re-enter the league. Russell had an infamous few years after being drafted by the Oakland Raiders, but if he is truly serious about turning his life around and getting back to work, good for him. It's always refreshing to see people try to get their lives in order.
