Sedrick Ellis wasn't even in town long enough to have a a picture in his Bears uniform made available to SBNation. As reported by numerous sources, Ellis is retiring.

Too bad Ellis didn't come to this conclusion a few weeks ago. I wonder if he had, would Israel Idonije still be a member of the Chicago Bears? From the Pride Of Detroit,
...the Lions signed him (Izzy) for the veteran's minimum ($940,000). His deal included a $65,000 signing bonus, meaning the total worth of his one-year contract is $1.005 million.
Here's some info on Ellis' deal from Brad Biggs.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Ellis received a $285K signing bonus and $500K of his $1 mil, 1 yr deal was guaranteed. Would imagine Bears would pursue the signing bonus.</p>— Brad Biggs (@BradBiggs) <a href="https://twitter.com/BradBiggs/statuses/360439898873921537">July 25, 2013</a></blockquote>

With Ellis walking away, the Bears now have a roster opening.
What do you think about this latest camp development?
