2013 Stats over/under: Alshon Jeffery

After an injury-plagued but promising rookie season, what will second-year receiver Alshon Jeffery be able to accomplish in year two with a new system? We set the over/under and you give us your predictions.

General manager Phil Emery has done a lot of good things in his time in Chicago and one of them is his makeover of the Bears' receiving corps.

When Emery arrived in 2012 following the 2011 season, the Bears' top five receiver were, in order of receiving yards; Johnny Knox, Roy Williams, Matt Forte, Earl Bennett and Devin Hester. Fans and analysts alike clamored for the Bears to go out and get a difference-maker at the position. Two years later two of those players are out of the league (Knox because of injury, unfortunately) and Hester isn't even a receiver anymore.

Furthermore, the position can now be considered a strength with Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Bennett and a young guy like Marquess Wilson who could contribute as well, with Forte continuing to come out of the backfield.

Jeffery should be able to make a strong impact this season when hopefully his health will improved over last year and he's now fully adjusted to the NFL. He had a strong training camp, QB Jay Cutler has said good things about him and in the regular season dress rehearsal he had 7 receptions for 77 yards.

Jeffery can cause match up problems and after working with Marshall this offseason he will be better prepared to work with the single coverage he gets with Marshall being on the opposite side of the field and he will hopefully have a better understanding of what he can get away with as far as drawing offensive pass interference calls.

Last season he caught 24 passes for 367 yards and 3 touchdowns. What can he do in year two?
