The Bears announced they claimed Raiders' defensive end David Bass, as well as signed seven players to their practice squad.

Bass is a seventh-round pick for the Raiders this year out of Missouri Western State - a smaller school, but a pretty high developmental pick. Here's a write-up Silver and Black Pride, our SBN affiliate for the Radiers, did when he was released.
Bass had three tackles in the third preseason game against the Bears.
The Bears need to announce a corresponding move before Bass can be added to the roster.
