1) Finish Defensive Plays
Ben Roethlisberger is great at extending plays and is strong enough to fight off sacks to make plays. Against what's been an anemic pass rush so far this season, that could spell plenty of trouble, as even the best cornerbacks in the league can't sustain coverage forever. The pass rush needs to show up. Julius Peppers hasn't been 100% this season yet, but Henry Melton hasn't made many plays either. Stephen Paea's had a very solid pair of games to start the campaign, but he needs some actual pass-rush help.
2) Tip the Field
Devin Hester had a huge game last week except for a couple of missed fair catch plays, and if he can continue that for another week, it should mean good things for a livelier Bears' offense as of late.
3) Martellus Bennett
Speaking of livelier Bears offense, here's the team leader in touchdowns! Bennett's shown how much better an offense can be when the tight end gets open and makes big catches, and is resembling the Bears' best offseason acquisition. The Bears will have a full complement of weapons once again, and Bennett should continue to be a large part of that.
4) Kyle Long and Jordan Mills
The rookie right side hasn't faced an NFL 3-4 defense yet, so this'll be a great test for the duo. Mills has looked pretty good for a fifth-round rookie and Long's been adequate, and really the offensive line's been so much better to watch than in years past. They'll need to keep doing it and keep Jay Cutler upright for the offense to succeed.
5) Hit the Ground Running
The Steelers' offense hasn't been much to this point of the season, and the defense is the same way. Both of the Steelers' 2013 opponents did a fair amount of work to the Steelers in the running game, and Matt Forte can gash a defense both in the air and on the ground. Giovani Bernard scored a touchdown each on the air and the ground, and Jackie Battle scored a rushing touchdown for Tennessee. Between the new offensive line and Forte, the Bears' running game can do some things here.
6) Stay Disciplined
Heinz Field is not an easy place to play. Playing on the road never is, but Heinz Field is one of the tougher ones. The Bears to this point have done a good job of avoiding pre-snap penalties, and against the Steelers, they can't afford to shoot themselves in the foot with bad penalties.
