There are two critical match-ups on the schedule for week five of the college football season, and they both just happen to be in the SEC.
#1 Alabama will take on #21 Ole Miss at 6:30pm ET on ESPN. Why is this noteworthy? Many analysts are putting the Crimson Tide on upset alert this weekend. I personally don't think the game will even be close, but I'm no college football expert. If Ole Miss is able to pull off the upset, we should see some very interesting story lines this week.
#6 LSU will take on #9 Georgia in a battle to keep pace in the SEC. After handling Auburn last week and having a surprisingly efficient offense in Baton Rouge, the LSU Tigers have their eyes set on claiming the SEC title. But Georgia (along with Alabama) will have their say first. Game time is 3:30pm ET on CBS.
Another top-25 battle to look out for is #14 Oklahoma vs #22 Notre Dame. They will kickoff at 3:30pm ET on NBC.
What game will you be watching today? Who is your favorite college football team?
This is your Saturday NCAA Football Open Thread... Have fun!
