We've covered this contest from every angle imaginable, and now, it's finally time to see how it all plays out. With a win today over the Detroit Lions, the Chicago Bears will have a two-game lead in the NFC North. The records will look like this:
Bears 4-0
Lions 2-2
Packers 1-3 (BYE this week)
Vikings (DOESN'T MATTER) - Okay, yes they matter... Minny will either be 0-4, or 1-3. They play winless Pittsburgh today.
The other two undefeated NFC teams entering Week 4 are the New Orleans Saints, who take on the Miami Dolphins, and the Seattle Seahawks, who will face the Houston Texans.
Not to get ahead of ourselves here, because Detroit could very well hand Chicago their first loss this week. And if THAT happens, we'll be looking at a 2-1 tie atop the NFC North, down a tiebreaker to Detroit.
This is your 1st Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
