The first of two games tonight features a somewhat-rematch. Remember when the Seahawks won the NFC West with a 7-9 record? The team they beat that week in the playoffs was the New Orleans Saints. You may well remember it as the "Beast Quake" game.
It opened up a lot of discussion about how a team with a losing record shouldn't host a playoff game, and with talk this year about playoff reseeding... Pardon me for saying it, but that's ridiculous. If you win your division, you get a home playoff game. And they won that playoff game at home. Does that mean the Saints were an awful team?
Eh, whatever, what's past is past.
