In 2012 Chicago Bears rookie receiver Alshon Jeffery struggled through a few injuries that limited him to 10 games with 6 starts. He ended up catching just 24 balls for 367 yards with three touchdowns.
The 2013 season was quite a turnaround for Jeffery. He was 6th in the NFL with 1,421 receiving yards and his 89 receptions was 10th best. He had seven receiving TDs, and he set the single game franchise record for receiving yards on two separate occasions.
Jeffery made the highlight reel catch look routine, and he was named to the Pro Bowl roster.
Earlier today the Professional Football Writers of America named Alshon Jeffery their Most Improved Player of the Year.
The future is bright for Jeffery and the Chicago Bears.
