The good news for the Chicago Bears this week is that their original starting five on the offensive line, Jermon Bushrod, Matt Slauson, Roberto Garza, Kyle Long and Jordan Mills, all look to be be back on the field at the same time. This was the group that started all 16 games last year and the group that opened the season on the o-line.
Tackles Bushrod (knee/ankle) and Mills (foot) are both listed as probable, meaning they have a 75% chance to play.
Other good news on the injury front for the Bears has linebacker Shea McClellin returning from a broken hand and Sherrick McManis returning from a quad/knee injury. Both received the probable designation, but both practiced all week.
Middle Linebacker D.J. Williams (neck) is also probable, so we probably won't see Darryl Sharpton at Mike this week.
The Bears have ruled two players out this week, safety Chris Conte (shoulder) and linebacker Lance Briggs (ribs). Rookie Brock Vereen will get the start at safety alongside Ryan Mundy.
Jon Bostic is listed as questionable (50/50), the same as last week and the Bears held him out of the Atlanta game. If Bostic is cleared, he probably gets the start in place of Briggs. If Bostic is a no-go, they'll probably go with Khaseem Greene after his 11 tackle performance at the Will last Sunday.
There's one last injured Bear to account for, and safety Ahmad Dixon (hammy) is probable.
Earlier this week the Miami Dolphins put running back Knowshon Moreno on season ending injured reserve. The Dolphins will also be without pass rusher Dion Jordan, who has been on the suspended list all season.
Safety Jimmy Wilson, who plays nickle for Miami, is listed as doubtful (25% chance he plays). At least one Miami beat reporter is reporting he won't play.
Running back Lamar Miller (knee), quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) and left tackle Branden Albert (elbow) are all listed as probable. The Dolphins do run some read/option, so a hobbled Tannehill could put a damper on that.
Other probable Dolphins are, TE Charles Clay (knee), LS John Denney (knee), CB Cortland Finnegan (neck), WR Brandon Gibson (hamstring), WR Brain Hartline (finger), Koa Misi (ankle), G/C Shelley Smith (knee), G Dallas Thomas (shoulder) and LB Philip Wheeler (shoulder/thumb).
Starting C Samson Satele is listed as questionable (50% chance he plays).
What are your thoughts on the injury report this week?
