Well this is some troubling news...
More bad news for the Bears: stud rookie CB Kyle Fuller broke his hand and suffered a hip pointer today. Hard to play corner w/1 hand...

Even though it would prove difficult to play cornerback with one hand, I think the hip pointer is the more concerning injury. Depending on the severity of the injury, a hip pointer can keep a player out for a few days to several weeks. It's basically a contusion, but it's one of those injuries that needs to be 100% before returning to action.
The severity of the broken had will need to be determined as well. Fuller's teammate, Shea McClellin, missed weeks 3 through 6 with a broken hand. If his hand can be protected, I think he returns to action once the hip is healed.
When Fuller exited the game today, it was Sherrick McManis that filled in at corner. McManis just returned from a quad/knee injury.
It's interesting to note, the Chicago Bears have not made an official announcement about Kyle Fuller yet.
Keep it locked on Windy City Gridiron for all your breaking Bears news...
