One day after releasing cornerback Teddy Williams the Chicago Bears did this,

I would assume that wide receiver Marquess Wilson is close to being activated and if healthy, he would slide into the #3 WR spot.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bears?src=hash">#Bears</a> WR coach Mike Groh on Marquess Wilson: "He worked hard and got a lot of work (last) week. He looked good."</p>— Brad Biggs (@BradBiggs) <a href="https://twitter.com/BradBiggs/status/532278099862638594">November 11, 2014</a></blockquote>

Santonio Holmes simply wasn't needed any longer. Josh Morgan can fill the backup veteran role and it would seem that Chris Williams will take over the punt return position. As a returner in the CFL, Williams was more prolific returning punts than he was kicks anyway.
Rashad Lawrence, who played collegiately at Northwestern, is 6'1", 196 pounds and he ran a 4.49 forty at his 2014 pro day. He was a co-captain in 2013 and as a Senior he caught 31 balls for 463 yards and a touchdown.
He joins a Bears' practice squad that currently includes WR Josh Bellamy, G Conor Boffeli, DT Brandon Dunn, QB David Fales, S Shamiel Gary, TE Jacob Maxwell and T Jason Weaver.
Do you see any diamonds in the rough among these practice squaders?
