Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings 1st Quarter Open Thread

The Chicago Bears return to Soldier Field for the fourth time this season, in hopes of notching their first home win of the season.

After being embarrassed by the Green Bay Packers last week, radio, television, and of course the internet, have all been blown up by Chicago Bears fans and sports media, with a large majority of loud voices calling for head coach Marc Trestman and defensive coordinator Mel Tucker's heads.

But the coaching staff stays in tact for another week, and fans are hoping for some sign of fight, a flash of offensive consistency, a decent defensive showing-- anything that resembles Chicago Bears football in some manner.

Will it come today? If the Bears end up dropping to 0-4 at home, it would be hard to imagine not having any changes at Halas Hall, but mid-season coaching changes are rare, for many reasons.  For one, you end up with coordinators and assistants running the show for the rest of the season, and two, cleaning house should never be punitive, only strategic.

But we'll leave all that to the owners, and focus on the Vikings this week,
