Chicago Bears 14

Detroit Lions 3

The Bears started off fast on offense, taking their opening drive 55 yards for a touchdown... Jay Cutler threw six straight passes, one to Brandon Marshall, one to Martellus Bennett, two to Matt Forte, and two to Alshon Jeffery (one for s score).

After punting on their second possession, the Bears got the ball back on the Lions 5 yards line thanks to a Jared Allen strip-sack of Matthew Stafford.

The Lions opening possessions included a three-and-out, a field goal, and a lost fumble.

Can the Bears keep their (potential) playoff hopes alive with a win over the Lions? We know the Green Bay Packers won't be slowing down, any time soon, so to have a shot, Chicago will need to run the table to end the 2014 regular season.

Can they do it? That run needs to start today.

This is your 2nd Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
