The Chicago Bears entered Ford Field on a two-game winning streak, with hopes of turning their season around and trying to back their way into the 2014 playoffs.  But the Detroit Lions had other plans, imposing their will on Chicago, on both sides of the football.  The Lions left the building with a 34-17 win, bringing their record to 8-4.

While the Bears (5-7) aren't yet mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, they would need to win out AND see about half the NFC have complete and utter meltdowns in order to make it. The likelihood of that happening are close to zero.

So another game against a decent opponent, and another miserable showing.  Just how hot is Marc Trestman's seat? Stay tuned...
