Remember when there was so much optimism about how the team could be a solid playoff team? Now they're a loss away from being very far removed from such a playoff picture, and after devastating losses to the Dolphins andPatriots, their next matchup takes them to the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field on Sunday Night Football to take on the Packers, a team that pounded the Bears pretty solidly back in week four, especially in the second half.
But with a win, the Bears are 4-5, splitting with the Packers, and with four divisional games left, two against the Lionsand two against the Vikings. So how can you follow the game tomorrow?
Time: 7:20 PM CT / 8:20 PM ET
Place: Lambeau Field - Green Bay, Wisconsin
TV: The game is on Sunday Night Football, which means the duo of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth - and it's national television, so everyone should get to see it. Here are the rest of the matchups, courtesy of the 506.
Radio: You can listen to the game over at the 780 AM web site or over on 780 AM, WBBM. Jeff Joniak and Tom Thayer are a good listen and you should do so.
Online Streaming: There is actual live-streaming for this one, as Sunday Night Football carries its own online streaming package. We don't condone illegal streaming, so if you're watching online, it better be this one.
Other Online Streaming: The WCG Sunday Livestream takes another weekend off as I'll be in Chicago on Sunday morning and not returning until the afternoon, so we will not be streaming. We'll return next weekend to either put the season to rest or to regain hope.
Odds: The Packers are favored this week by an infinite amount. Or 7.5. For more here's the SBN Odds Page.
Pick: I'm having a hard time going against the Packers. At Lambeau. With the ability to put the boot to the throat of the Bears' playoff chances. That's not the best recipe for the Bears' success, so we'll go with Packers 27-17.
The Enemy: Acme Packing Company does a fantastic job covering the Packers for SBN. They're on Twitter at @AcmePackingCo.
What about watching with you guys?: If you want to follow us for whatever insight we offer, there'll be the game threads to socialize with other Bears fans. On the Twitter, we can be found at @WindyCGridiron, @Kev_WCG, @SJS_illini, and@wiltfongjr.
Next Week: The Bears get their first crack at the Vikings at Soldier Field.
