Matt Marton-USA TODAY Sports

At this point, most Chicago Bears fans are just waiting for it to die. Nothing surprises them anymore, and a pitiful performance in front of a national audience doesn't even phase them.

They are just waiting for it to stop breathing. Whatever it is, just bury it in the ground, throw a large nondescript rock on top of it, and move on.

Rest in peace, whatever-the-hell-you-were.

The Bears teased a little tease in the 4th quarter, but in unsurprising fashion, a late rally was stymied by a Jay Cutler interception.  It would have ended in no other way...

Some quick stats to close:

Jay Cutler: 32/46, 341 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT

Matt Forte: 13 rushes, 26 yds, 1 TD | 8 rec, 74 yds

Brandon Marshall: 3 rec, 61 yds

Alshon Jeffery: 6 rec, 95 yds, 1 TD

Martellus Bennett: 12 rec, 84 yds, 1 TD

Tony Romo: 21/26, 205 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT

DeMarco Murray: 32 rushes, 179 yds, 1 TD

Dez Bryant: Angry with diamond earrings

We'll have more details tomorrow, but in the meantime, go ahead and get your torches lit...
