Chicago Bears set dates for OTAs and Veteran Mini Camp

Earlier this month we gave you the run down on the NFL Off Season Calendar Of Events, and now the Chicago Bears have announced the dates for some of their off season activities.

Here's a refresher on some important NFL dates, with the Bears Organized Team Activities (OTAs) and their veteran mini camp mixed in.

February 17th: The first day NFL teams can use their franchise or transition tags. The tagging period ends on March 3rd at 4 PM Eastern.

February 19th - 25th: NFL Combine

February 20th: Chicago Bears Head Coach Marc Trestman and General Manager Phil Emery address the media from the NFL Combine

March 11th: Free agency begins - There's actually a slew of things happening on March 11th, so be sure to check out the full NFL calendar of events for the complete list.

May 1st: Chicago Bears G.M. Phil Emery Pre-Draft press conference

May 8th - 10th: NFL Draft

May 16th - 18th: Chicago Bears Rookie Mini-Camp

May 27th - June 10th: Chicago Bears OTAs

June 17th - 19th: Chicago Bears Veterans Mini-Camp at Halas Hall
