Roster news - Michael C. Wright: The Bears announced Monday the re-signings of center Taylor Boggs and safety Derrick Martin to one-year contracts.

Time for Bears to develop a young QB - Michael C. Wright: While not exactly pressing, a need at the position exists. As it stands now, Cutler is the only QB on the current roster who has thrown a pass in a regular-season game.
