We've already gone over Timmy Jernigan and Aaron Donald, so let's move to another defensive lineman in Ra'shede Hageman, a Big Ten lineman out of Minnesota.
(For whatever reason, 2013 game breakdowns aren't quite prevalent on YouTube. At least that I can find to stick in here.)
Hageman is an interesting case. He's huge, at 6'6" and 318 pounds. He's got all the physical traits, though one of the big knocks on him is his consistency and drive. He's 24 years old and a converted tight end. He's been tabbed as a 4-3 DT (both NT and 3T) and a 3-4 end, coming with scheme versatility as well as a strong bull rush when he brings it. That athleticism and flexibility could make him an intriguing prospect for the Bears, who've shown they aren't afraid to take athleticism and potential in the first round, however it may turn out.
The varying mocks I check tab him as a slight bit of a reach for the Bears, with CBS' mockers going to the Seahawks at 32, the Cardinals at 20 twice, and the Patriots at 29. Walterfootball mocks him to the Cardinals at 20, currently.
What are your thoughts on the Gophers' defensive lineman?
