2014 NFL Draft: Recap of Chicago Bears picks & undrafted free agent talk

Good jorb, Phil!

Jonathan Daniel

The 2014 NFL Draft is O-V-E-R and, to refresh your memory, here's whom we picked.  Click on each name for the WCG post (complete with scouting report and WCG members' immediate reactions in the comments) about that particular selection.

Round 1:

14. Virginia Tech cornerback Kyle Fuller

Round 2:

51. LSU defensive tackle Ego Ferguson

Round 3:

82. Arizona State defensive tackle Will Sutton

Round 4:

117. Arizona running back Ka'deem Carey

131. Minnesota Safety Brock Vereen (Bears traded up with the Denver Broncos, sending this year's and next year's 5th-round picks for the Broncos' 4th- and 7th-round picks this year.)

Round 5:

(None, traded to Broncos.)

Round 6:

183. San Jose State quarterback David Fales

191. Miami punter Pat O'Donnell

Round 7:

246. BSU offensive tackle Charles Leno Jr

The next order of business immediately following the draft is to sign priority undrafted free agents, and Phil Emery is already on the move in that regard, with local product Jordan Lynch of NIU tweeting the following not long after the 256th and final pick of the draft was made:

Also, with thanks to Bear4Ever, Emery adds more potential depth to the O-line (or, at least, a camp body for the position group):

Now that you've had a little time to sit back and take it all in, how do you feel about the Bears' 2014 draft?  Also, this is your UDFA chatter thread, so I suppose we should Open Thread it.  Have it away!

Reminder: Our own Steven Schweickert and Sam Householder will be here to recap the Bears' draft and share their thoughts tomorrow at 6pm CT.
