2014 NFL Draft: First (1st) Round - Picks 21-32 Live Blog; Bears chose CB Kyle Fuller with 14th

We enter the home stretch for the first round of 2014. The Bears selected CB Kyle Fuller with the 14th pick, and we wait to see what the best teams from 2013 do now.

The Rams jumped up and stole Bears fan favorite Aaron Donald, leading the Bears to select versatile CB Kyle Fuller.

Another Bears fan favorite Calvin Pryor goes to the Jets at #18.  The Cardinals then traded #20 to the New Orleans Saints

The Cardinals traded #20 to the Saints

The Packers are first up in the traditionally playoff team picks, thanks to their early exit in the 2013 postseason.  What is going to happen in these last picks?  Is there a trade back into the first on the horizon?  Do the Seahawks really keep hold on #32?

Scroll on down the page to see a recap of the first 20 picks.

Round 1 - Pick 21

Green Bay Packers

Acme Packing
Company

Ha Ha Clinton Dix S Alabama

Bears fans wanted him, and now he's on the enemy. He projects to make that defense good.

Round 1 - Pick 22

Cleveland Browns

Johnny Manziel QB Texas

Acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles, the Browns traded all over to take Manziel. So that happened. Best wishes in the football seventh circle, Johnny.

Round 1 - Pick 23

Kansas City Chiefs

Arrowhead

Dee Ford DE Auburn

Dee Ford, edge rusher.  Will help going after your Mannings and your Rivers'.

Round 1 - Pick 24

Cincinnati Bengals

Cincy Jungle

Darqueze Dennard CB Michigan State

First Michigan State first rounder in over a decade, Dennard brings something to a defensive backfield that could use a spark, as they hope to become the cream of the AFCN crop.

Round 1 - Pick 25

San Diego Chargers

Bolts From
The Blue

Jason Verrett CB TCU

Projected by many as more of a 2nd rounder, the run on cornerbacks is here. Verrett looks small, but is scrappy and plays hard.

Round 1 - Pick 26

Phi_logo-80x90_medium

Philadelphia Eagles

Bleeding
Green Nation

Marcus Smith DE Louisville

Received from the Browns so Cleveland could get Manziel. Not as long as you'd like, and I feel it's too high, but should be able to contribute early as a situational pass rusher in a 3-4.

Round 1 - Pick 27

Ari_logo-80x90_medium

Arizona Cardinals

Revenge of
The Birds

Deone Bucannon S Washington St

Works well walking to the line, plays with size, should fit in well.  Tough road ahead for him playing against the 49ers and Seahawks and maybe someday the Rams.

Round 1 - Pick 28

Kelvin Benjamin WR FSU

The Panthers clearly needed a WR.  This is a good one to have for them.

Round 1 - Pick 29

New England Patriots

Pats Pulpit

Dominique Easley DT Florida

Easley is the kind of DT that the Patriots love.  Not a huge surprise.

Round 1 - Pick 30

San Francisco 49ers

Niners Nation

Jimmie Ward S N. Illinois

4th safety in round 1.  Lots of Bears fans currently praying that Emery knows what is going on.

Round 1 - Pick 31

Bradley Roby CB Ohio State

Eventually they'll find someone to help stop other offenses, right?

Round 1 - Pick 32

Minnesota VIkings

Daily Norseman

Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville

The Vikings get a new QB, certain to take the job from day 1. AP years are getting shorter, need to do something to win now.
