2014 Chicago Bears Draft Picks: Bears select Arizona State DT Will Sutton in 3rd Round

In the 3rd round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select...

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODA

Arizona State Defensive Tackle Will Sutton (6'1, 303)

The Bears continue their run on defense with the 82nd overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, which was promised during the offseason by general manager Phil Emery.

Will Sutton is a guy who had an incredibly impressive season back in 2012, but slowed down significantly in 2013. He's played as light as 280 pounds, and as heavy as 305-310.  His strengths lie in his speed and explosiveness, but needs some work to be productive in the NFL.

While Sutton had some challenges last season, he also showed enough over the last couple years to warrant a 3rd round grade by Phil Emery and his scouting staff.  In Phil We Trust, right?

What are your thoughts on Sutton being the guy at #82?

And better yet, what do you think about the draft so far?

1st Round - DB Kyle Fuller - Virginia Tech

2nd Round - DT Ego Ferguson - LSU

3rd Round - DT Will Sutton - Arizona St.
