Ratliff anxious to keep helping Bears - Arthur (not Hub) Arkush: Now one of the elder statesman of the Bears’ revamped D-line, Jeremiah Ratliff was clearly excited about the opportunity to share some wisdom with the incoming rookies.

Young Bears get long looks as starters on D - Moon Mullin: Virtually nothing is settled when players are in just shorts and no pads. But Fuller and Vereen have been in place through virtually all of the OTA sessions, and Bostic’s time with the No. 1 defense has grown significantly.

Observations from OTAs - Arthur (not Hub) Arkush: Jay Cutler was virtually automatic in red zone drills, spreading the ball around and completing three consecutive TDs at one point.

Marquess Wilson ready to make strides in second year - Jon Greenberg: Like most rookies, Wilson said he was in awe of the veterans last year. Now in his second year of offseason work, he's much more comfortable being in the NFL.
