Chicago Bears mini camp is over, the next stop for the team is training camp at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois on July 24th. The full training schedule will be released soon.
As always, be sure to keep it locked right here on Windy City Gridiron for any and all Bears news. We'll make sure to have plenty of stuff to talk about from now 'til camp opens. There is no offseason for WCG.
Just in case you missed it, the Fendi Onobun era is over.
With the third and final day of camp concluded, we'll run down some info thanks to Twitter.
I wonder if this convo went something like this;
Mel Tucker: Thanks again for Lamarr Houston
Phil Emery: You're welcome.
Mel Tucker: And Jared Allen
Phil Emery: Don't mention it.
Mel Tucker: And Willie Young.
Phil Emery: OK
Mel Tucker: And Kyle Fuller
Phil Emery: Yeah...
Mel Tucker: And the rookie defensive tackles.
Phil Emery: Um, don't you have some coaching to do?
Mel Tucker: And Brock Vereen!
Phil Emery: (starting to back away) OK...
Mel Tucker: Oh and Ryan Mundy!
Speaking of the rookie DTs, Will Sutton, who missed the first two days of camp for personal reasons, returned to practice today. Kyle Long, Jordan Mills and Matt Slauson all sat out of practice today. Chris Conte was sent home because he was ill, but there are varying reports on his illness being contagious. Coach Marc Trestman said it wasn't, so I'll believe him.
With three fifths of their starting offensive line sitting out, the Bears' 1st team o-line was Jermon Bushrod (LT), Michael Ola (LG), Roberto Garza (C), Taylor Boggs (RG) and Eben Britton (RT).
More on Sutton...

And how about rookie corner Kyle Fuller?

And rookie safety Brock Vereen?

What about fan favorite rookie Jordan Lynch!
LM: Trestman says #Bears have logjam "from 2-5" behind Forte at running back and Jordan Lynch is part of that.— Chicago Bears (@ChicagoBears) June 19, 2014
So you're saying there's a chance...
Also for those of you wondering why Jimmy Clausen was added to the roster.

And now a few more quick hitting Bears Tweets.
