When it comes to playing professional football, athleticism will only get you so far.
Speed will only get you so far.

The Fendi Onobun era is over.
#Beara have informed TE Fendi Onobun he will be released
— Brad Biggs (@BradBiggs) June 19, 2014
With Onobun no longer a member of the Chicago Bears, that leaves Dante Rosario, Zach Miller and Matthew Mulligan left to compete to be Martellus Bennett's backup.
You can't say the Bears didn't give Onobun a shot, but it was his inability to catch the ball that led to his release.
The Bears could bring in another tight end or two as they do have a couple of spots open on the 90 man roster.
What are your favorite memories of the Fendi Onobun era?
