Bears sign Clausen - Larry Mayer: The Bears on Thursday signed QB Jimmy Clausen to a one-year contract and waived LB Lawrence Wilson. Dan WiedererWorkout was sharp, appears to have bulked up.

Clausen joins crowded QB ranks - Bob LeGere: Bears not expected to report to training camp on July 23 with five QBs on the roster. Michael C. Wright: Club plans to carry a minimum of five QBs through the end of veteran minicamp.
