sources tell me the #Bears will not put @MarquessWilson on IR for the year, expect to "designate" him to return, makes WR spots interesting

If the Chicago Bears do indeed place Marquess Wilson on the injured reserve with a designation to return, the first game he would be able to play in would be week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. The Bears have their bye week during week nine this season.
The Bears would need to place Wilson on their final 53 man roster before placing him on IR. If they do this, they may have a deal in place with another player that they cut, just to bring right back if he clears waivers.
Players that are going on the short term injured reserve list will be announced Tuesday.
One other thing, each team is only allowed to use the IR/designated to return one time. If they use it on Wilson the next major injury will only give them the season ending IR option.
