The Chicago Bears return to Soldier Field to get ready for the 2014 season. Their first opponent? The Eagles of Philadelphia.

Finally, the Bears take the field. Unfortunately, it's only preason.

There's a lot to be figured out for this 2014 squad, though, so maybe it's not too bad.  The Bears need to settle on some defensive linemen, some linebackers, some safeties, and some bottom of the ladder wide receivers.

Shea McClellin looks to prove that he is deserving of the linebacker spot he seems to have been handed, and Adrian WIlson is out to prove he has nothing to prove as he tries to lock up one of those safety spots.

We won't see the starters too much tonight, but you're going to see a lot of the guys who are battling for the 2nd and 3rd spots on the depth chart. Keep an eye out on who is getting the kickoff and punt coverage units, as that can be very telling as to who is filling out those last 10-15 spots on the roster.
