NFL Preseason Week 1: Saturday Night Open Thread

The official first week of preseason wraps up with two division foes and four games. Mastrud watches his football in a reclining chair made of Eagles players.

There's still four more preseason games to close out week 1, and every game brings us that much closer to actual NFL football.

Cleveland Browns at Detroit Lions
7:30 PM CT
Reason to Watch:
Well, the Lions are a division foe, and looking at the depth chart of the Lions isn't a bad thing. And the Bears need to do some advance scouting for their final preseason matchup, right? Right?

Pittsburgh Steelers at New York Giants
7:30 PM CT
Reason to Watch:
You don't really have much reason, technically, since neither team is on the Bears' schedule this year. Well, maybe if you're worried about the Giants' ability to get into the Wild Card chase this year. But that's (ideally) not something for the Bears to worry about.

Green Bay Packers at Tennessee Titans
8:00 PM CT
Reason to Watch:
The same as watching the Lions, to keep an eye on a division foe.

Houston Texans at Arizona Cardinals
8:30 PM CT
Reason to Watch:
To see if the Texans are still a two-win team.
