Chicago Bears fans have held their collective breath over the last few days, with Matt Slauson and Roberto Garza already ruled out with high ankle sprains, and Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery being game-time decisions.
As promised, head coach Marc Trestman announced right at the 90-minutes-before-kickoff mark the status of Marshall and Jeffery-- both cleared to play. This is huge for a team still trying to get their feet up under them and keep pace in the NFC North.
Tonight, the Bears play on a familiar prime time stage... this time, in San Francisco. Will Jay Cutler and Co. shine under the lights, or will the Niners impose their will upon a team limping after only one game this season?
And better yet, will the Chicago Bears defense have an answer for Colin Kaepernick, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree, and Anquan Boldin?
This is your Sunday Night Football Open Thread... Have fun!
