#Bears have signed LB Darryl Sharpton and terminated contract of FB Tony Fiammetta with injury settlement.

Fiammetta injured his hamstring again on Monday night vs. the Jets. I don't know if anyone would be surprised if he ended up on this team again sometime in the future. Says Biggs:
An NFL source told the Tribune the Bears decided to cut ties with Fiammetta, who suffered a hamstring injury in Monday’s victory over the Jets. It is a new injury, not a recurrence of the hamstring injury Fiammetta suffered in Week 3 of preseason at Seattle.
The other big part of that news is that the Bears signed LB Darryl Sharpton to help with a banged-up linebacker corps and a special teams unit that is losing players to starting positions.
Sharpton, a 4th round draft pick of the Texans, appeared in 42 games from 2010-2013 in Houston, starting 19 of them. He was signed by the Washington professional football team in March, before being placed on IR and later having his contract terminated.
The Bears have added nine different players to the 53-man roster since Week 1.
