Chicago Bears Injury Report: Chris Conte cleared from his concussion

Here is the full injury report for the week one match up between the Chicago Bears and the Buffalo Bills.

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

After being limited earlier in the week, Chicago Bears safety Chris Conte (concussion) was a full participant at practice both yesterday and today. He did receive full clearance after sustaining a concussion in the 3rd preseason game in Seattle. Another full practice participant the last two days is back up offensive lineman Brian de la Puente. Both Conte and de la Puente are listed as probable (75% chance they play).

Third string quarterback David Fales has been listed as out all week. He aggravated his shoulder in the 4th preseason game and will not dress on Sunday.

Fullback and core special teamer Tony Fiammetta has been nursing a sore hamstring all week and he is listed as questionable (50/50). If Fiammetta can't go, the Bears can use both Dante Rosario and Matthew Mulligan at fullback.

For the Buffalo Bills, rookie wide out Sammy Watkins is receiving the probable designation with sore ribs. Look for the Bills to allow his a few plays off here and there if he suits up. Other Bills' probables are starting middle linebacker Brandon Spikes (knee) and back up LB Randell Johnson (ankle).

Receiving questionable status is starting corner Stephon Gilmore (groin) and back up running back Anthony "Boobie" Dixon (hamstring).

The doubtful (25% chance to play) Bills are back ups tight end Lee Smith (toe) and safety Johnathan Meeks (neck).
