Yesterday the Chicago Bears officially added two more assistants coaches to John Fox's coaching staff.
#Bears reach agreement with Frank Smith to become their tight ends coach. Smith spent last 5 seasons with Saints as offensive assistant.

As an offensive assistant with the Saints, Smith helped with game preparation while assisting with the offensive line. Most of his collegiate coaching career was spent coaching the offensive line, although he also was the offensive coordinator for Butler from 2007-2009.
#Bears also hire Jason George as strength & conditioning coach. He spent last 3 seasons working for John Fox w/ Broncos.

The Bears will be George's third NFL team he has worked for since 2009. In total he has 23 years experience as a strength and conditioning coach.
The Bears still have a determination to make in regards to some holdover coaches. They still list Marc Trestman's assistant positional coaches for running backs, linebackers, defensive line, wide receivers and quarterbacks.
