2015 NFC Wild Card: Detroit Lions vs Dallas Cowboys Open Thread

The second game today puts the NFC North wild card Detroit Lions against the NFC East champion Cowboys.

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

So we get to watch the first NFC North team in the playoffs this time, as the Lions take on the Cowboys in the Jerry Jones Sixty-Thousand Family Living Room.

One of the marquee matchups will likely be the Cowboys' offensive line and rushing attack with DeMarco Murray, and the Lions' top-ranked rushing defense which allowed only two one-hundred-yard rushing performances on the season. However, the Lions are also coming off allowing 152 rushing yards to the Packers, the most rushing yards they've allowed on the season.

Defensively, the Cowboys have to contend with a Lions' offense that has found a complementary weapon for Calvin Johnson, and that may be an understatement, as Golden Tate's put together a really good season, at times performing as the team's top receiver.
