There aren't a whole lot of "new" developments per se, but we can bring you up to speed on the developments that exist before today's playoff action.
First off, the Bears confirmed they did interview Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase and Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
#Bears have interviewed Seahawks DC Dan Quinn & Broncos OC Adam Gase for head-coaching position.

But the other development is a report from Pro Football Talk (So yes, consider the source and take it for what it is) that the Bears aren't interested in bringing Rex Ryan on board. PFT insists on Ryan in Chicago being a perfect match (Son of Buddy Ryan, defensive-minded head coach), and while the defense could use a boost, would the Bears be able to run Ryan's scheme anyway?
The last two years under Mel Tucker have led to miserable defensive production, and it wouldn't be surprising for the Bears to look towards a defensive-minded head coach to fix that up. It just likely won't be Ryan. But we'll let you know if anything's afoot, and try to keep a step ahead of things going forward.
